The environmental slogan “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle” is at the forefront of our minds at Wogaard because we view making business more sustainable as our higher purpose.
It is believed to originate from the USA in 1976 when Congress passed the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act. Now, 35 years on, we know a lot more about the impacts of man-made processes on the environment, and it is our responsibility to reduce the amount of damage we cause. That was one of our primary motivations when we formed Wogaard. We wanted to make the manufacturing industry more sustainable and kinder to the planet.

To achieve this, we developed our flagship product: The Coolant Saver. This clever little device uses the power of a machine’s pump to reclaim fresh coolant that has been dragged into the swarf bin and send it back into the machine.
Doing so reduces the amount of waste during the manufacturing process, reuses otherwise-discarded coolant, and recycles material back into the machine to be reused. It is a textbook example of the guiding principle of sustainability in action. At Wogaard, we realise it can be challenging for companies to make their processes more sustainable, especially when many businesses spend a lot of time and energy trying to keep costs down so they can continue turning a profit. |
