How it all started...​

Christian and Preben Woergaard launched Wogaard with the unique and innovative Coolant Saver product with a focus on cost-cutting and optimisation for the manufacturing industry. Both have vast experience in the industry from design to maintenance and noticed the coolant wastage produced by CNC machines and the impact on companies in both costs and environmentally. The team then went to work and designed an innovative product to reclaim this wastage, using the machines wasted power to operate the unit so avoiding additional energy usage and cost. Primary customers for Coolant Saver are CNC machine shops, of all sizes, that are constantly looking to improve their competitive edge and reduce any impact on the environment from day-to-day manufacturing processes. 

A decade ago, Jason Hutt joined the team and started working on product launching into the Global market. Many companies have enjoyed great cost saving and environmental benefits of the award winning products (see case studies).

Wogaard has focused on working with good technical distribution partners globally and is stocking in UK, USA, Denmark, Australia and the list is growing.

Jason Hutt

Managing Director

After being in the manufacturing industry for more than 35 years, Jason has seen some changes and challenges to the industry, an industry that has been ever challenged by costs, skills shortages, low productivity, inefficiency, etc.

During his work in the industry, the huge oil and coolant wastage that happens on a daily basis around the world became apparent. Millions of litres of oil and coolant is thrown away that could be and should be reused at the source – thereby positively affecting the companies' bottom line and sustainability performance.

Christian Woergaard

R&D Manager

With a wide experience in the manufacturing industry and in R&D in multinational companies, Christian is focused on how we can improve sustainability in the industry and spends the majority of his time in the Danish office working on developing new products within the green technology.

Preben Woergaard

Production Manager

Preben has spent his entire working career around machine tools and manufacturing. From installation and servicing of machine tools to optimizing machining operations in production scenarios and performing time studies for a broad range of manufacturing customers.

​His vast experience and innovative mind has resulted in coming up with green solutions as Wogaard together with Christian. Currently, Preben is in charge of the Danish production office and manages logistics and customer support as well as current R&D projects.
